My Process
I create Brand Style Guides. These documents distil company values, brand stories and graphic elements into a visual blueprint. They define a brand's DNA, ensuring consistent messaging and a unified look across all platforms. I create and curate every design element, including the logos, colour schemes, typography usage, imagery, and tone of voice, to craft a unique brand identity.
Below is my step-by-step process I undertake with each of my clients.
-
1 - Discovery
Let's Build a Foundation for Success
I will set up a call/meeting to kick things off. This is crucial to understanding your unique story and project objectives. We'll explore your competitors, your target audience, and your vision to ensure we build a brand that stands out and achieves your goals.
-
2 - Exploration
Creativity Unleashed
This is where the fun begins and I get to explore creative avenues and research design styles that align with your strategic intent. Its also an opportunity for me to start playing with the visual look and feel for potential creative directions.
-
3 - Concepts
A Presentation of 3 Directions
I will then develop three unique creative directions, each supported by a mood board and rationale behind the concept. This will allow us to explore different visual possibilities and choose the path that is most appropriate for your brand.
-
4 - Refinement
Building a Brand Style Guide
Once a creative direction has been established I will set about creating the style guide document, including the design of the logos, colour schemes, typography and brand imagery. You will then have 3 opportunities to feedback and make revisions on the specifics.
-
5 - Sign off
Dotting the i’s and Crossing the t’s
I'll present the completed Brand Style Guide to you for your final review and sign-off. This will ensure we've captured your vision and created a brand identity that you're truly excited about.
-
6 - Delivery
Packaging Up Your Brand
Once you are happy with the branding elements, I will bring together all of the approved final assets to create the final brand files, guidelines and templates for all future brand communications.
